Abel Tasman Coastal Track
The Abel Tasman Coastal Track is one of the most popular of the Department of Conservation ‘Great Walks’. With its stunning golden beaches derived from impressive granite headlands and a backdrop of enchanting native bush, it’s not hard to see why this track attracts visitors from all over the world.
Southern Wilderness now offers a new way to see the Abel Tasman. An inclusive pack-free guided walk package from Nelson will enable you to walk the Great Walk Coastal Track from Marahau to Totaranui over two days. While the walk is stunning in its own right, the trip’s added dimension will be viewing the National Park from aboard a private yacht that will be your exclusive accommodation for the trip. With meals on board and cabins to leave your luggage in, your day’s walking will only require you to carry a small day pack. Upon reaching Awaroa on your second day, your journey will be completed with a stunning return voyage to Nelson under sail!
