I thought our interaction with the other hut users may be slightly awkward, but it wasn't. It was handled skillfully. Attention to detail was evident from start to finish and the food was remarkable in that context.
Huge organisation goes into providing the meals etc. coupled with great team who make it work soooo well. Thank you.

My Heaphy walk was great, worthwhile, enjoyable and so different from my usual walk of life! I learnt heaps, laughed a lot and appreciated the changing terain - spectacular scenery!
Back to New Caledonia after a great walk on the heaphy track with Southern wilderness. Andy and Sarrah two great guides, very helpul, great knowledge about fauna and flora. Good cook. The group was very joyful, very nice companions. A lot of stories and fun. Great souvenir. See you next year !
I chose to do this trip with Southern wilderness becuase I wanted to experience tramping with some ease and a little luxury. I came out of this walk with a huge sense of achievment/satisfaction - had fun + the Guided walk + prepared/served meals made the whole experience a fabulous/doable/

Wonderful trip, with great guides, proffessional attitude, preparation and local knowledge.
My trip was very organized. The walk was great, and our guides were fantastic. Always our safety, cimfort and well being was a priority. Di is exceptional - her knowledge and enthusiasm and love of the area is passed on to you, this helps make it an exceptional trip. Danny's ability and love for the outdoors combine with Di for a great and memorable trip.
Overall a far better experience than I anticipated. Fabulous guides and companions
