The Heaphy Track and Abel Tasman Coastal Track are two of the nine New Zealand Great Walks managed by the Department of Conservation, alongside the world-renowned Milford and Routeburn Tracks. While most people walk through a track with only limited local knowledge of the plants, creatures, history, geology, and astronomy, our guides have spent considerable time studying a vast array of subjects to share interesting and fun stories with you. Don’t worry, our trips are not school trips, and there are no tests – the guides will bring your adventure to life with a depth of knowledge that is refreshing, fun and informal.
Transport, safety management and catering are fully provided for in each of our packages. With an emphasis on wholesome local foods, we put the ‘Gourmet factor’ into your hike!
