Now Southern Wilderness are offering two new trips for 2009 and 2010. Spend either Christmas day or New Years Eve at the Heaphy Hut on the final night of your trip, and enjoy an afternoon on the beach of West Coast magic. Your guides will cook up crayfish, whitebait patties, scallops and wild venison to enjoy with a few bottles of bubbles to celebrate the special day.

The Heaphy Track Festive Experience Package includes:

• Door to door transport, from your accommodation in Nelson, out to the track and back!
• A professional, personal and caring guiding service, to make sure you get the most out of your adventure.
• Comprehensive interpretation by informative guides.
• Full safety management of all aspects of your trip with us.
