Marlborough is New Zealand's premier wine growing region with the largest number of wineries and vineyard plantings in the country. Signature wines from the region include Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir which thrive in this cool climate where warm days and cold nights create a length ripening period ensuring maximum flavours.
Wilderness Guides' unique wine walk is an exploration of taste where you can stroll from cellar door to cellar door, learning the intricacies of the wine making process as you go - from plantings in the vineyard to processes in the winery.
Our wine tours are their own vintage. We designed them for people who appreciate the elegance of nature, those who embrace seasonal changes, the same 'connoisseurs of life' that know that beauty can be captured and even bottled in a good wine.
This is a personalised, educational and gourmet wine tour by two feet. This is a comfortable stroll for people who enjoy wine and walking. NB. Available every day - year round- just subject to minimum numbers.
